Amaron Battery Series Warranty Breakdown
Amaron offers different warranty tiers tailored for high-mileage private cars, commercial transport, and two-wheelers. Total warranty is split into two phases: Free Replacement Months and Pro-Rata Months.
How to Decode Your Amaron Battery Serial Number
Every genuine Amaron battery features a permanent laser-etched serial code on the top casing edge. This alphanumeric string contains vital manufacturing data:
Understanding the Alphanumeric Characters
- Factory & Line Identifier: The initial 2 to 3 alphabetical letters indicate the manufacturing plant (e.g. Amara Raja plant in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh).
- Manufacturing Year & Month: The succeeding alphanumeric characters encode the exact year and month of manufacture. For instance, code "K" or "L" indicates the month (where A = January, B = February, etc.) and digits identify the year.
- Unique Unit Sequence: The remaining digits constitute the individual battery's production serial number, ensuring zero counterfeit duplication.
Dealer Verification Guarantee: When you purchase an Amaron battery at Orange City Batteries Nagpur, our technicians verify the laser serial against the warranty database before installing it in your car or bike.
Troubleshooting Amaron Registration Issues
If you encounter technical obstacles while using the Amaron Konnekt app or website, here is how to resolve them:
"Invalid Serial Number" Error
Be careful not to confuse the numeric digit '0' with the capital letter 'O', or the digit '1' with capital 'I'. Ensure all 14 characters are typed without spaces or hyphens.
"OTP Not Received" on Mobile
Check if DND (Do Not Disturb) is activated on your carrier. If SMS OTP delays persist, try the Amaron Konnekt mobile app or visit OCB Nagpur for instant dealer registration.
Lost Original Paper Bill
If you bought from OCB, your billing record is archived in our computerized ERP. We can reprint your tax invoice and re-link your warranty record on the spot.
